Closure of Grounds and Pavilion
From Thursday 5th Nov our grounds and pavilion are closed for all but a small number of exempt users. These restrictions will remain in place up to and including Wed Dec 5th 2020. Rugby, Tennis, Cricket and Archery have all been suspended by their relevant sporting bodies.
If you are in need of a venue to deliver education content or small business meetings, we may still be able to meet your needs during our temporary closure.
We want to thank everyone who has been enjoying our grounds for daily exercise and your continued commitment to maintaining social distancing. We regret that our sports grounds are now closed to dogs regardless of them being on a leash. Old Deer Park is considered an enclosed sports grounds and is therefore covered by the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames protection order 2017 (Dog Control).
This order considers it an offense to allow a dog to defecate on the grounds where the owner does not immediately remove the feces. Old Deer Park will take action on owners with dogs on the grounds who are allowed to defecate.
Renting and Booking Rooms
We continue to take bookings for the Pagoda Room and for the Dragons, Lions, and John Dawes suites upstairs provided usage meets activities exempt from the National Restrictions exected on 5th Nov 20.
To be compliant with government regulations we are not able at this time to take individual bookings for social or recreational use unless in some limited cases for weddings, funerals. We can continue to accommodate some business-related exempt activities.
If you feel our space may be a solution to your needs please contact us using the details below.
