Due to the ongoing situation regarding the risk of Covid19, the management team at Old Deer Park Sports Grounds, supported by the constituent clubs requests that all visitors and members maintain good levels of hygiene as advised by the NHS, to avoid possible cross-infection. You will see notices around the club advising on good practice. The Old Deer Park Sports Grounds will have extra hand-sanitisers located in toilets and corporate facilities this weekend and for the foreseeable future. You may also notice our staff undertaking additional and more frequent cleaning of public spaces. Further advice is provided below. At present we have no plan to close our facility for sport or for public functions but we will continue to monitor government guidance and recommendations issued by the various sporting bodies who oversee Archery, Cricket, Tennis and Rugby. We will be acting according to their direction and advice. While we understand this may cause some inconvenience, the continued health of members, staff and players at Old Deer Park Sports Grounds and of visitors, is of paramount importance, and we ask for your understanding around this issue. If you have recently travelled to the UK from countries with a higher risk of Coronavirus you should seek medical advice. If you have been to one of these places in the last 14 days, find out what to do using the NHS 111 online Coronavirus service. If you are experiencing symptoms (which include a cough, a high temperature or shortness of breath) the Government advice is to call NHS 111, stay indoors and avoid contact with other people immediately. Anyone with flu symptoms should avoid the risk of spreading their infection by staying at home and recovering.
